As a citizen with a local and a statewide point of view, Lois Nixon has provided leadership and vision to advocate on issues affecting education and the environment. I've worked with her in the General Assembly on legislation where she has been an effective communicator with elected officials. She has worked successfully to help pass legislation that benefits students and the environment.
